Educate your advisor^.  Be open and honest in providing information.  I can not assume nor am I in the business of reading minds.  Communication is key.


Educate yourself.  Be inquesitive, ask questions.  Ask me for details and explanations on how  products work.  Be hungry for answers.  You'll gain the collective experience of an entire practice committed to raising the bar on client service.


Make it a team effort.  Working together, listening carefully to all recommendations, but remember----all final decisions are yours to make.  You and only you have to be comfortable with the outcome.
